The site is located in the Sloterstrip zone of the Schinkelkwartier area, a new development on the boundary between the Nieuw-West and Zuid districts of Amsterdam, which is also just a bike ride away from the historic city centre.

Currently known as a neighbourhood mainly with offices and light industrial activity, the City of Amsterdam has ambitious long-term plans to transform and rehabilitate this area over the next 25 years. Schinkelkwartier is expected to become a new, trendy, mixed and sustainable district with ample greenspace and canals, well served by public transportation and soft mobility solutions. 11.000 homes will be created as a part of the neighbourhood redeployment to meet the massive housing demand of the market.

The site foresees the development of a mixed-use project of maximum 43.500 m² divided into two phases, with approximately 37.500 m² of residential use and minimum 6000 m² of office space and retail combined.

Developed in partnership with Seald.
